The Unbelievable Chalk Man!

This man is artistically talented beyond the
visual boundaries of sight...and he does it all
on sidewalks with colored chalk!!

The depth perception he gets on a flat surface boggles the mind...a fantastic artist!

Wow...

I've seen some of these before...or at least similar...these 3-D appearing sidewalk chalkings. It does boggle the mind.

I was examining the snowflakes in the Santa piece...wondering how the artist depicted that. Every flake is painted on a flat surface, some close and some far away. And obviously, that'd be the only way to do it. But the effect is incredible.

When I read the title of this blog piece...I thought of Dick Van Dyke as Bert in Mary Poppins. :)

"Wow" is how I felt after a friend sent me these. How he visualizes the depth perception he achieves is amazing. Then I wondered why he does these in chalk if the first rain is going to wash all the beauty away. Thanks Carol!

I am stunned by the artist's ability! So amazing to me that someone can make flat artwork look so 3D. Thanks for sharing. :)
